Flag Raising - the early morning tradition. Of all the common threads of the various camps this is perhaps the one that binds all the camp programs together. Everyone gathered around the flag pole each morning for the raising of the flag, devotions and exercises. Yes the exercises! Those silly jumps, hops and stretches. Occassionally something went up the flag pole with the flag (though I couldn't find any pictures) and occassionally something fell out of the flag as it was unfurled.
