Established in 1948 by Colonel Joseph Acton, Camp Selkirk was the home to camping ministries in Southern Ontario. It was the site of spiritual, emotional and personal growth for many. Based on 124 acres this residential camp is remembered for many things, some of which are recorded here.

Pic #1 Nick, Sherri, Gwyneth, Mabel
Pic #2 Dan
Pic #3 Mikey!
Pic #4 Is that Tim, Glenn & James, left to right? Or is that "Cheavers" not James?
64,000 canteen points to Sherri! It is indeed Tim, Glenn and James. You might note that Tim wanted to make sure we recorded his muscles.
All I can say is Dan the Man...The man Dan...where are you?
It's the Singing Pot Boy in photo #3!!
I'll have to direct my cousin Dan the Man to this site. He's married and living in Grimsby. Last I heard, he and his wife were attending the freeway.
Why else would you go to camp but to meet new and interesting boys. Yep my first kiss happened at camp too, out side cabin 1.
It's funny I was talking to someone the other day about how camp was when they were there in the 60's and she said that even her and her husband were not allowed to hold hands on camp property. Oh how the pendulum swings! :-) I will not bring up past kisses at camp but Carla if you're out there do you remember a certain version of "Our God is an awesome God" only with a certain male camper's name inserted with comments about his "awesome bod!" heh heh...I think we even recorded that song on the walls of the old plywood cabins. Terrible! :-)
